Too many, power is absolute, to others power it seen as a means to an end, and those with great power are seen as authoritative, domineering, and fierce. However, what if these absolute paragons of mightiness, were surprisingly some of the most welcoming and jolly individuals you'd ever meet. These two legendary warriors are the embodiment of this.
These compassionate and wise founders of powerful nations are no joke, however, as both have earned their reputations of absolute beast of warriors for a reason, as both can be fierce and intimidating in the heat of battle, and today where pitting them against each other, it's the Original Spiritual Leader of The Valley of Peace vs The God of Shinobi in today's DEATHBATTLE!

So both of these guys have quite of bit of material to look over. Starting with Oogway, obviously we will be looking at the original trilogy (and I guess Kung Fu Panda 4). Secrets of The Master's and Furious Five are fair game, alongside Secrets of The Scroll as well.
As for if we'll look at the TV shows....yeah sure why not. Legends of Awesomeness and Paws of Destiny are going to be covered as well. I think the best way to treat it is like Legends for Star Wars, characters that have been in the shows should get it, those who haven't should not.
Hashirama is pretty simple too, the Naruto manga and anime, while also look at Boruto, but don't expect too much from that side, as the Boruto series for the most part won't have much for Hashirma to gain from, as that series eclipses the Naruto side in power by a lot. With all that said, let's begin shall we.

Background
Master Oogway
Thousand of years ago, Oogway, an ambitious young warmonger from The Galapagos Island, would lead his powerful army alongside his best friend and brother-in-arms, Kai. On one fateful day they were ambushed, and Oogway was badly wounded. Kai would carry his brother for days, until finally stumbling upon a secret panda village, hidden in the mountain.
These Panda's would use the power of Chi, to heal the young turtle, thankful and captivated by the applications of chi, The Panda's taught Oogway how to use chi to give unto others, however Kai wanted the power all to himself, to further his own strength. Realizing how far his friend had fallen, our young warrior challenged his former friend, to a battle which shook the earth, before triumphing over him, and banishing him to the Spirit World.
With a newfound perspective, and an aim to better himself, Oogway would travel the world, visiting every country before finally settling in China. He would look over a hill at the land that he would name as The Valley of Peace, and on this hill he would plant the seed that would become The Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom. Finally, at the highest peak, by The Pool of Sacred Tears, Oogway would become moved by the beauty of nature, and the plight of the oppressed, and would unravel the mystery of harmony and focus, and he would create....Kung Fu.
Oogway would accomplish many great feats, keeping the peace in the Valley of....Peace, and assisting others outside The Valley, and helping The Four Constellations protect The Wellspring from Jindiao.
His greatest feat of strength, was defeating the evil tribe of Underworld Demons who terrorized and laid waste to the Valley, Oogway defeated them and sealed them away atop the crack at Jade's Mountain, by using The Power of The Hero's Chi, a form of Chi gifted from The Heavens, that dwelt within him, and augmented his abilities. Oogway would then battle their leader, The Demon King, Ke-Pa, who was far more powerful than his brethren, Oogway would have been defeated, however due to protecting the Valley, The Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom protected him, re-energizing him with the power of Heaven and Earth, Oogway would rise and use this newfound energy to triumph over the Demon King, and trapped him in the body of a mortal pig, leaving him powerless as long as The tree lived.
In Oogway's honor, the villagers would build him The Jade Palace atop of the mountain in order to honor Oogway for all of his great accomplishments, if you haven't happened to notice Oogway was well loved by all of China, he was able to free the villagers of The Valley from a scorpions mind control, because they really loved him and were extremely loyal to him.
His strength was legendary sure, but Oogway compassion and wisdom, alongside his funny sense of humor is what stood out most to people. Oogway would take in a young Shifu, who was abandoned by his father atop of The Jade Palace, turning him into the greatest Kung Fu master in all of China, helped three young warriors become well-known Masters who would form The Master Council of Gongmen City, inspired Monkey to use his talents for good, and help guide young Tigress to become her own warrior instead of just being like Shifu.
In his later years, Oogway would sense that the time was nearing for him to pass on his role of Spiritual Leader onto another, developing a prophecy of The Dragon Warrior, many would seek the position of Dragon Warrior, including Shifu's own son Tai-Lung, who Oogway sensed darkness within, and rejected his claim to the title, causing him to go on a rampage on the valley to which Oogway put a stop to.
The Jade Palace would host an event to choose The Next Dragon Warrior, many thought it would be a choice of one of the member of The Furious Five, however, destiny had other choices, and the warrior would appear before them in a ball of fire from the sky, gracing them with his presence....and by by ball of fire, I mean fire works, and by warrior, I mean noodle shop employee of his father restaurant who had the (somewhat) successful idea of strapping fireworks to chair so he could get in and see the one chosen to become Dragon Warrior.
This person was Po, a Panda, and in that moment, Oogway would see in him the future of Kung Fu, and the past, the panda who could unite them both, both sides of the yin and yang, and his true successor, while many would consider Oogway choice as an accident, there truly are no accidents, and Oogway would entrust his successor and the future of Kung Fu into the hands of Shifu, before completing his journey and passing on into the The Sprit World, where he would reach true enlightenment.
However, Oogway peace would be disturbed by the return of his old friend now bitter enemy, Kai, who stole all the Chi of every Kung Fu master in The Sprit World, Kai wanted to steal Oogway's chi for himself, so that he could return to The Mortal World, while Oogway would battle his old foe, he instead choose to entrust Kai's defeat into the hands of Po, and willingly allowed Kai to steal his Chi. Oogway trust in Po, was well placed, as Po defeated Kai, and freed the chi's of all the master's both alive and dead that Kai had stolen, including Oogway, who now felt Po was ready to take up his mantle of Spiritual Leader of China. Finally, Oogway could finally be truly at peace and allow Po and his generations take on the mantle of protecting the world.
Hashirama Senju
War...is hell, I don't think you need me to tell you that, however, in the world of the shinobi, during the Age of The Warring States Period, it became a lot more appalling. During this age, Shinobi men and women were forced to battle it out with other countries, (which were uniformly small), for land, power, and opportunity.
To win these battles, countries would employ mercenary shinobi to represent them, this would lead to the average shinobi lifespan to be only of thirty years of age, and not only were men and women expected to battle, but also children, as long as one could pick up a blade, they would be forced to fight, even if they were infant. Out of the many mercenary clans to come from this age of constant battle, two would rise to the forefront, The Uchiha's and The Senju's.
The Senju's were known as the Clan of Love, compared to the Uchiha's who were known to have The Curse of Hatred, this would spark a fierce rivalry between the two clans, and they would battle each other pretty frequently due to both being hired to battle each other, consistently.
The Senju's strength came from their love, and no other Senju had a deeper connection to love, than a young boy and eldest of four brothers, Hashirama Senju. Hashirama was the son of Butsama Senju, the clan head, whom he often butted heads with, as he believed that constant battle with The Uchiha's and the sending of children to the battlefield was in own words "messed up".
During this time, Hashirama would meet Madara, a fellow child shinobi, whom he would develop a friendly rivalry with, usually in skipping stones and other test of abilities, with Hashirama usually coming out on top. Hashirama would later lose two of his brothers, saddening him greatly, his only remaining brother, Tobirama, believed that peace would only be achieved when all shinobi suppressed their emotions and formed a true pact with each other, something Hashirama took to heart.
This pain of losing younger brothers and being tired of constantly battling with other shinobi, was something his friend Madara could relate to, it was also something that would strengthen their bond. Madara believed that the only way peace could be achieved were for shinobi to reveal to each other what's inside themselves, hiding nothing, and drink together like brothers.
Both friends would never reveal each other's last names, but they would meet up together and have fun, while discussing the future. As they sat upon the vantage point of the tallest mountain, both would dream of a future where children like themselves, wouldn't have to fight, including their brothers. They believed in order to do this, they would need to become the strongest, so that their elders could no longer ignore their words.
However, their plans would be cut short, as both children's fathers and younger brother's learned of their heritage and the fact they would meet up together, and both would force Hashirama and Madara to kill the other, both children would try to warn the other at their next meet up, however, both parents caught on to their plan, and would ambush the other with the intent to kill. Both father's would attempt to take out their younger brothers, but Hashirama and Madara saved them.
Because of this, Madara belived that their plans were just a dream, Hashirama would attempt to argue against this but Madara would hear none of it, revealing his Sharingan, Madara would declare next time they'd meet, they would not be friends but enemies on the battlefield. He was right, the next time they did meet, was in battle against each other, and it would continue to be that way for many years. In one such encounter, Tobirama would gain the upper hand against Madara younger brother, inflicting a fatal wound.
In that moment, Hashirama would once again plead for his former friend to end the conflict, having never forgotten or given up on their dream. However, Izuna, Madara's younger brother, would convince him not to, and in his dying moments begged for Madara to never surrender, however many Uchiha's by that point were tired of fighting, and began to join The Senju's side instead after witnessing Hashirama plead for peace. Madara and Hashirama would battle once more, with Hashirama emerging victorious.
Tobirama would attempt to finish him off, but Hashirama stopped him, once again making a plea for peace, however, Madara would only agree as long as Hashirama killed his own younger brother, or himself. Hashirama believed this was an act of kindness on Madara part, and agreed to kill himself if it brought peace to both clans, making them swear not to seek vengeance but peace.
Madara moved by Hashirama's words and action, would stop his friend from ending his life, and agreeing to peace. On that day, both Senju and Uchiha would come together, and on that very vantage point they sat on as children, they would form The Village Hidden in The Leaves, Konoha. Finally, their dream was achieved.
However, it would not last, as although many powerful clans would join Konoha, like the Sarutobi and Shimura, and other nations followed in Konoha's foot steps, Madara was dissatisfied. Due to Tobirama influence, he was passed over as first Hokage, even though Hashirama wanted him to be Hokage, and due to manipulation from an unknown at the time Zetsu, Madara believed that The Uchiha's would eventually be slighted by Konoha, mainly by Tobirama, (and he was right) considering Konoha a failed experiment, Madara left, with the intent to return one day destroy Konoha.
Madara followed up on his threat, and battled Hashirama once more, with one such occasion having mind-controlled the Nine Tailed Fox, to help destroy the village he once helped to co-found. Hashirama would beg Madara to stop, but he didn't listen, and both would battle for the remainder of the day, until they were both too tired, their battle having created The Valley of The End. Hashirama would finally have enough, and put down his friend once and for all (not really tho).
Hashirama would continue to do great things, continuing to protect Konoha, having his wife seal the Nine Tails inside of herself, locking away the Scrolls of Seals, spend time with his granddaughter (and gain both of them a crippling gambling addiction) and helping to train the next generations, including Tobirama student Hiruzen, who would later become The Third Hokage. Hashirama greatest feat however, was running the fade with all of The Tailed Beast and selling them to the other villages as a sign for peace, and balancing the power of all the nations.
While this was certainly a powerful feat, it did not have the intended effect that Hashirama wanted, for while he was hailed as "The God of Shinobi", other nations would fear his power and send assassins after him. While all attempts failed, the peace he dreamed of was never accomplished, and war, would eventually break out with Hashirama dying beforehand. In his dying moments, he would ask his brother to not slight The Uchicha, and to treat them well, something he probably wanted more than anything to honor his fallen friend. However if you seen Naruto, you know that well....his last wish was not honored.
Even beyond that, his DNA, was sought after, beyond his death for evil purposes, and his own corpse would be desecrated and misused in attempts to destroy the village he loved so dearly, and even worse, children were still sent into battle, some of the higher ups, like Hiruzen himself, who was complicit and even actively making sure prodigious children (like Itachi) were sent to battle much earlier than intended.
However, Hashirama will, The Will of Fire, the idea that love was the key to peace, was never forgotten, and many ninja's would take this to heart. Including one such knuckle-headed ninja, Naruto Uzumaki, to whom Hashirama shared a connection to, as both are the reincarnates of the Demi-God, Asura Otsutsuki, and Naruto was Hashirama direct incarnation. Hashirama would be summoned to the land of the living once again, to not only persuade a young misguided Uchiha, Sasuke, from the path of darkness, but also helping aid the entire ninja world, and once again defeat a resurrected Madara once more.
At the end of the war, Hashirama would speak to his friend once more, as both were about to die again, no longer as enemies, but once again as friends and war buddies, with both admitting that they were being to hasty in their strive for peace, and that they should have leaned more on the next generation, to carry on the torch for peace. Ultimately, this is what Hashirama chose to do in his final moments, trusting Naruto and Sasuke to achieve the dream that he and Madara always dreamed of.
His faith was well placed too, as Naruto and his generation, finally achieved peace between all the villages in The Shinobi World, that is still being maintained to this day (though they still keep sending children out to fight tho). Ultimately, even though the Shinobi World could very well be facing its darkest hour, with those wanting to end it forever, Hashirama will is still being carried amongst each generation to this day, including by Naruto's own son, Boruto, who stands between the Shinobi World and the threats endangering it.
For as long as Hashirama will and wisdom is remembered, peace will always be attainable for The Shinobi World, as he and Madara so always believed.

Hashirama long sword that he uses in his adult years, this sword replaced the normal sword he used in his childhood and early adult years. In Ultimate Ninja Storm 4, he can infuse chakra to increase the swords size and deal great damage to his opponent.

Even before creating Kung Fu, Oogway was an ambitious warrior, who was able to battle an entire army alongside Kai, and later defeated him in battle. After, unraveling the mystery of harmony and focus, Oogway created Kung Fu. The style of Kung Fu that Oogway created and used, Oogway used was Tortoise Style.

The Fluttering Finger Mindslip
Presumably created by Oogway, by swirling your fingers to the left, right, and then fluttering them in a twisting motion, one can give their opponent temporary paralysis, short-term memory loss. Extended use on a victim could lead their memory to deteriorate to the point they forget how to breath.
The Twelve Impossible Moves
Also presumably created by Oogway, these extremely difficult Kung Fu moves are thought to be impossible, hence the name. Some of these techniques include:
- Thundering Wind Hammer: The Thundering Wind Hammer is achieved by rapidly spinning around, suddenly stopping, and then placing one's palm out towards the target. A ball of energy shoots out from the palm and flies toward the target, blowing it back on impact.
- Mongolian Fireball: The user goes into multiple stances, and then brings their hand close together vertically. After this, a large fireball forms between their hands and slowly moves forward, sucking nearby objects in. The fireball then gets shorter until it disappears, leaving only a cloud of dust behind.
- Shielding Spell: Is an unofficial technique, but referred as a shielding spell by Shifu and Snow Leopard where Fenghuang cast an energy force-field that surrounds both her and her allies to protected them from Xi'an’s mystical sword and abilities, most notably the possession shockwaves it emitted. When using it again to retrieve the sword it caused her eyes to be blind-like state to sustain it, but the second time her eyes were open when she used it to repulse Master Elephant when he was possessed by Xi'an.

The Five Mystic Kung Fu Secrets
A set of difficult kung fu techniques that each have a mystical aspect to them, hence its name, we've already mentioned two of them, the remaining are:
- The Iron Heart, which increases the user's strength one thousand fold
- Jin Tian's Tempest, which grants the user the ability to fire lightning bolts
- The Wings of Light, which grants the user the ability to fly

Oh! So you know this hold? Well in case you don't, let's break it down. The Wuxi Finger Hold is an advance and powerful chi-based technique that can send mortals to the Sprit Realm.

As shown in Paws of Destiny, those with the power of Chi can manipulate their opponents soul, Po and the other Panda's in the village did this against Jindao, removing his soul from his body and placing it in the spirit urn.
Transmutation
With the power of his Hero's Chi, when Oogway defeated Ke-Pa, he sealed away his demon form leaving him as defenseless mortal pig as long as the peach tree lived.
Healing
Chi allows the user to heal themselves and others, and with the power of The Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom can re-energize and enhance his Hero's Chi.
Chi Construction
With the power of Chi, Oogway can create constructs, Oogway himself has created a Kanji, that translates to the word "Spirit", fitting don't you think. He also created the yin and yang symbol as well.

Through Chi, Kung Fu masters can use energy for offensive attacks and for defense as well. With his own Chi, Po overloaded Kai with too much energy, blowing him up and erasing him from existence...

Possible Resistance's
- Mind Control/Possession: Oogway ended the effects of Scorpion sting by simply by simply raising his hand, ordering them to stop, which they did cause he had their loyalty. Po was able to resist the mind control of Master Ding, the possessive effects of The Moon Weevils, and the mind control abilities of Pang Bing.
- Possible Chi Restoration: Po could restore his chi in the Sprit World simply by meditating.
- Possibly Transmutation: Now while Oogway was transmuted into a Jade Zombie by Kai, Po could resist it, adding to the argument that Oogway possibly let Kai win.
- Sleep Manipulation: Po resisted the mist of morpheus, a tranquilizing swamp gas that put the whole valley to sleep.
- Paralysis Inducement: Po resisted the paralysis effects of the Hopping Ghost Breath.
Hashirama
Tai-Jutsu
Tai-Jutsu is any techniques involving the martial arts or the optimisation of natural human abilities. It is executed accessing the user's physical and mental energies, relying on the stamina and strength gained through training.
While typically the use of Tai-Jutsu does not require Chakra, you can use Chakra to enhance techniques. Simply put Tai-Jutsu is hand to hand combat, and can help lessen The Chakra used.
Hashirama is an expert Tai-Jutsu user, able to go toe-to-toe with Madara and Hiruzen.
Chakra
Originating from the Ōtsutsuki clan, is the life energy that exists inside of the people in the world of Naruto. It is the result of energy when two other forms of energy mixed together. These energies are both "physical" and "spiritual", once combined, you get Chakra.
Chakra is essential to even the most basic of justus. Through Hand Seals, ninja's can preform ninjutsu, genjutsu, and other secret arts separate from Taijutsu, advance ninja's can do one-handed seals usually due to their fighting style is more reliant on speed.
Chakra is not normally visible, though it can be if it's highly concentrated or manifested in large amounts. Chakra can be use to walk on water, exhaling fire, and creating illusions. Chakra has become a form of life energy that all individuals produce to some degree; those who run out of chakra will die. Similar to he cardiovascular system, Chakra Pathway System is the energy circulating through your body.
All ninja will have a maximum amount of chakra that they can form and apply before it runs out and they need to rest to replenish it. With practice this maximum can be increased, but to a certain level as they are limited to the quantity and strength of chakra that their genetics grants them. You can also die from having too much Chakra, the same way a ninja can die from having too little Chakra.
Since Chakra requires building up, one must work on their Chakra Control, to control and conserve your Chakra. Too much Chakra, tires you out, too little, the technique will not be effective, and ultimately wasted. Because each persons Chakra is different, they'll give off different Chakra Signature, which sensor types can detect.
Hashirama has one of the largest Chakra Reserves in the entirety of Naruto, likely due to being an Asura reincarnate and coming from The Senju Clan. During The Fourth Shinobi World War, Naruto gave his and Kurama Chakra to the entire Allied Shinobi Forces, Hashirama noted that the distributed Chakra rivaled his own, that is in-fucking-sane, Kurama and Naruto Chakra combined rivaled Hashirama, it could be higher in his prime, probably is actually, considering he was an edo-tensi, which brings one back at the time that they'd died.
While maintaining a Kage Level Barrier, Hashirama could create Ten Wood Clones, fight nonstop for 24 hours, and resist the control of the perfected Impure World Reincarnation with ease, even though his cells were powering it up, and Orchimaru was making sure that to hold him and the other Hokage down, though he admits Hashirama could break out at any point, though he chose not to so he could speak with Sasuke.
Ninjutsu
Ninjutsu is everything that's not Taijutsu and Genjutsu. The majority of Ninjutsu requires Chakra and Hand Seals, though not always since mere use of weaponry qualifies as Ninjutsu.
Wood Release
While Hashirama was proficient in all five basic nature transformation, as well as both Yin and Yang Release, his most proficient Nature Transformation is Wood Release. Currently, Hashirama is the only person in canon, to naturally have this ability.
Wood Release is the combination of earth and water-natured Chakra creating wood and plants from the ground or his very being of various sizes and shapes that he manipulated to his purposes. With this ability Hashirama could create wood clones, and entire landscapes, among many other things. Wood Release techniques can be produced from any location, even the user's own body, as the user's chakra is converted into a source of life.
Wood Clones
Hashirama wood clones are more durable than the Shadow Clone variant, as the name suggest these clones are made out of wood, and can merge with plants and trees.
Advent of a World of Flowering Tree's
Mokuton: Kajukai Korin, this ability allows the user to grow tree's on any surface at a rapid pace, creating a dense forest of flowering trees. In the process of the forest formation, the user can restrain any target that tries to attack.
The pollen created from these flowers can be released into the atmosphere and render any inflicted target unconscious, the pollen is potent enough to penetrate the Susanoo army. The only way to counter it is either through will-power, staying above the pollen, or cutting the trees.
Secret Jutsu: Nativity of a World of Trees
Hashirama forces tree's to grow, which splits the very surface of the earth, creating a dense forest in an instant, the user generates Chakra, that maneuvers it as they see fit for attack and defense; furthermore, this technique even allows them to capture the enemy simultaneously.
Wood Release: Wood-Dragon Technique
Hashirama can create a gigantic dragon with a tengu-like face, that can easily restrain targets as strong as BM Naruto's full Biju Mode and survive being struck by Madara Uchiha's Susano'o Swords, and is used to drain the chakra from a target.
The only counters are to destroy the head of the dragon.
Wood Release: Wood Human Technique
A giant wood statue that is used to combat opponents of larger sizes, such as Madara full Susanoo or Kurama. It is tough enough and fast enough to catch a Bijudama shot from Kurama and survive its explosion with the Mokuton: Hōbi no Jutsu.
Wood Release: Wood Expulsion Technique
Taking advantage of the nature of Wood Release, this fūinjutsu substantially weakens incoming attacks whilst protecting the user inside, and even nullify attacks like Kurama Tailed Beast Ball.
Wood Style: Laughing Buddha Technique
The Mokuton: Hotei no Jutsu, creates giant hands so that a target can be restrained. Hashirama is can manifest two hands with sheer will alone, without the use of hand seals.
Hokage-Style Sixty-Year-Old Technique — Kakuan Entering Society with Bliss-Bringing Hands
I'm not saying that long ass name again, however, this technique utilized the power of Wood Release to forcibly suppress a Tail Beast Chakra.
Four Red Yang Formation
The Four Red Yang Formation requires four Hokage level Shinobi to achieve, it forms a powerful barrier that can tank blows from the Ten Tails, Tailed Beast Bomb.

Regeneration
One of the main reasons that Hashirama cells were so coveted, was because of his insane regenerative abilities. They are able to heal the injuries of anyone imbued with them in mere moments. After being hit by Guy, Madara (who had Hashirama Cells) could regenerate from having half of his torso blow off (though due to the Ten Tails Madara regenerative abilities were enhanced).
Hashirama's regeneration is comparable to Tsunade and Naruto's own regenerative abilities, Tsunade in her Strength of Hundred Technique, could automatically heal any damage without hand seals, she can stimulate her cellular division in order to regenerate organs and limbs, regenerate from being stabbed by Madara Susanoo swords, complete bisection, and survive from being completely ripped apart.
Bringer of Darkness Techniques
The user places a hallucinatory darkness on a target's eyesight, causing them to see nothing but black; Tō no Sho likens the sensation to being at the bottom of a deep hole. Because the target cannot see, they are very vulnerable to attack.
While powerful, it's not insurmountable, The Third Hokage is able to sense attacks to try to defend himself and smell his attackers in order to stage a counterattack, and when he takes their souls the darkness begins to dissipate.

Sage Mode
Senjutsu is a specialized field of jitsu's that involves nature energy, users are known as Sages, learning to draw natural energy inside of their bodies, blending with their own Chakra to create Senjutsu Chakra.
Thoes who master Senjutsu, obtains Sage Mode. Increasing their physical and Chakra capabilities, and their sensing capacities are increased as well. The user can sense Chakra around them and can sense attacks without the need to see them.
Techniques made using senjutsu chakra cannot be nullified by Truth-Seeking Balls, and are also capable of harming the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki, however, the user of Sage Mode can hold still to absorb more natural energy for the opponent to absorb and turn their own chakra absorption against them. Hashirama, however, did not have this problem in his Sage Mode.
Sage Art: Shinsu Senju
The user creates a colossal statue of a praying Senju Kannon or Avalokiteśvara, armed with several rows of gigantic arms on its back. The size of the figure dwarfs even Kurama and the surrounding mountains.

At the very least he should downscale.

Does Oogway scale to potential Universal KFP
While I have my thoughts on universal Kung Fu Panda, which comes from Paws of Destiny, Oogway should not scale. Jindao absorbed The Wellspring, which was described as "the source of all light in the universe".
While Po did fight him, one, it was in a form that currently, Oogway has never achieved, and two, when Po fought him with his Hero's Chi, he was having trouble fighting him and had help from The Panda Village, and had to seal him away to win.
Oogway should not scale.

Oogway has been alive for thousands of years, and has fought a variety of foes, from fellow Kung Fu Masters to literal demons. He's obviously a talented martial artist, considering he's the literal creator of the damn thing, and is regularly called the greatest Kung Fu master who ever lived and created many of techniques used by many masters.

Hello, dear readers. It’s MKF4 here again.
As you can see, I’m in a bit of a rough spot right now. That conniving little sneak, SonallyKingKataang, has trapped me within the Kamui Dimension! The nerve of that Archie-character shipping pipsqueak is beyond me, and all because I said I think Bowser should beat Doctor Eggman! What is this world coming to, am I right?
It’s dark here! I’m cold, I’m hungry, and I just want to get back home.
But worry not, dear reader! I won’t let this unfortunate little botheration of an inconvenience stop me from giving you a verdict worthy of your time and reading, to give you the scoop on what you need to know for Oogway vs. Hashirama! And of course, I’ll get to work on breaking out of this diabolical prison of a reality in the process. Just strap in, folks, I have a dimension to bust out of and you all have a debate to read about. There’s food and bed for me on the other side of this, and a result for you! We’re all winners!
Let’s start with stats, which is always the bread and butter of any regular versus debate. Both have a lot of tricks to pull from, but first we need to see who is stronger and faster, determine how useful such an edge is, and then we can move forwards from there. We have a lot of numbers being thrown around in this blog, but once you set them side by side carefully, it’s pretty clear that Hashirama has the edge in all categories when it comes to stats. He’s stronger by a mile and a good deal faster as well. But let’s actually look into why that is.
The best AP feat Oogway appears to scale to is of course the Black Tortoise meteor, which is clocking in at a lovely 100 teratons of TNT. This is a very nice performance for certain, and to be fair, it trumps the majority of feats that one could argue for Hashirama. But there’s the problem. Most of them.
As good as it is, it’s not trumping the various feats held by Obito, Nagato, Kurama, or of course, the base Naruto moon feat. We’re talking with vastly higher numbers with Hashirama than what Oogway is playing with. Country level vs. Planet level, in simpler terms. This is not a good look whatsoever for Oogway, just like this dratted Kamui Dimension isn’t a good look for me.
And no, I don’t buy the Master Yao thing.
Speed is basically the same problem. Kung Fu Panda isn’t exactly running around with many FTL arguments, outside of a few fringe Spirit Realm arguments relying on Jiandao. Without those, Oogway’s not getting out of the hypersonic to relativistic range. Conversely, Hashirama has a much wider pool of feats that typically get higher values, plus feats that actually do break the FTL barrier in scaling. Itachi’s feat would be a good example for this. In short, the speed gap should likely be coming out in Hashirama’s favor, to go with his power.
All things considered, Hashirama has a solid lock on the stats, meaning the edge is very dominantly in his favor here. He has the power to dismantle Oogway in a single hit, and the speed to ensure that he gets that hit in. It’s just pretty clear-cut in that way.
While you’ve been getting a good idea of how the stats compare in this fight, I’ve been busy looking through the things I’ve picked up from previous blogs to see if I have anything to break out of this Kamui Dimension. I even found a snack!
A big chunk of Dark Energon (useful if used carefully but not really helpful right now and I frankly don’t want to use this if it can’t be helped), a Sol Emerald and some Rings (great for fire powers), the Triforce…
Wait a second. That might actually work.
(I’d like to see you try and seal me away NOW, Kataang!)
While I take my portal back to proper existence and bring the Triforce along with me, that serves as a good segway to the fact that these two have some powers we need to go over. Hashirama has a lot going for him in terms of wood. Wood clones, defensive gates, walls, even entire wood dragons can come onto the scene and fight for him. In terms of numbers and battlefield control, Hashirama has a monstrous edge. With wooden clones, ways to stop Oogway’s attacks in their tracks, and wooden dragon capable of going toe to toe with forces like Madara or Naruto, there is a lot going for him.
But Oogway has some really good tricks up his shell, with such things as potential soul manipulation, memory manipulation, transmutation, and the Wuxi Finger Hold. Some of these are actually really useful.
While powers like the Golden Lotus Clap are canceled out by Hashirama’s own Bringer of Darkness Technique and he might resist the memory manipulation, things like the soul manipulation or the Wuxi Finger Hold are arguable win-cons. To be fair, we haven’t seen Oogway do things like soul or memory manipulation, but it’s not horribly unreasonable to assume that he probably picked them up, and we just outright know he’s got the hold. If Oogway can land any of these, then he’s got a good shot at winning the match.
The fact of the matter is though, that he’s not likely to get the chance to use these powers. Hashirama’s battlefield control is just way too good. Given his power edge, things like his defensive gates, clones, wood dragon, barriers, and pins will be able to keep Oogway exactly where he wants him, especially coupled with his much higher speeds. On top of that, a lot of Oogway’s powers require extremely close-range combat, which makes getting past a horde of wood clones to land the needed hits or landing a critical hit with a wooden dragon on the move all the harder. And this is assuming he doesn’t get pinned in by barriers, or held down by Sage of the Great God, or that Hashirama isn’t hiding behind Quintuple Rashomon.
To be fair, powers like the Clap of Stillness or flight can help deal with this problem. A little. The Clap of Stillness won’t get Oogway out of the Sage of the Great God or the barriers, and flight can only do so much against the multi-headed wooden dragon. These are neat tricks that can help Oogway potentially score some wins in the right circumstances, but more often than not Hashirama does have ways to keep them from being enough. It doesn’t help that given the AP and speed gap, more often than not I think Hashirama would just land his needed hit and win before these hax can come out.
And this is without going into other factors like Hashirama having way better regeneration, or his remarkable experience in a multitude of wars, and other such things. Ultimately, while there are some things that do need discussed for a winner such as the Clap of Stillness or the Wuxi Finger Hold, more often than not, I think Hashirama just has the stats and powers he needs to win more often than not by a pretty good amount. It’s not the biggest stat I’ve seen on Kataang’s blogs, not by a mile, but it is pretty comfortably in Hashirama’s favor if you were to ask me. The winner is Hashirama.
But that’s not what’s important right now. What matters is that I got out of the Kamui Dimension! I made it home! And it appears things haven’t changed much.
I suppose some things never change. But now that I’ve given you my stance on who wins, made fun of Kataang for reasons beyond anybody’s comprehension, and thoroughly ruined the day of anybody who ever tries using BFR or sealing on me in user vs. user versus debates, I should probably be heading on my way. I have a snack to eat and a Triforce to go put in storage.

Hey y’all Dark Lore, biggest Uni Kung Fu Panda gasser, and I am here today to discuss who wins between Oogway and Hashirama so I should probably get started. Ok so the easiest thing to discuss here are the stats for these two which Hashirama should take pretty handily, Hashirama should be thousands of times stronger and millions of times faster than Oogway however this isn’t to say that Oogway is completely out matched, he is likely a far more skilled martial artist having trained for thousands of years and with his heightened senses and visions of the future he could always know where Hashirama is (which would also eliminate Hashirama from using stealth against Oogway) and formulate plans to use his greater skills against Hashirama so know we gotta look at the real meat and potatoes of this debate, their abilities
So a lot of Hashirama and Oogway’s abilities are similar with ways to blind, bind, and knock each other out however Hashirama has just a few more abilities that give him the edge for example Hashirama’s plant manipulation would allow him amazing battlefield control, along with the ability to create wooden clones and other objects from the wood would be putting Oogway always on the defensive this extra space for Hashirama would be giving him plenty of time to formulate a plan and use one his numerous game ending abilities on Oogway, and with Hashirama’s healing factor it would be damn near impossible for Oogway to deal any lasting damage, we’ve seen how powerful just a few Hashirama Cells fully heal life threatening wounds and considering the fact that Hashirama is made of Hashirama cells Oogway has almost no chance of putting Hashirama down permanently however Oogway does have one way to end the fight in overloading Hashirama’s spirit with Chi however that would require him to have enough Chi to overload his soul which is doubtful due to how much stronger Hashirama is compared to Oogway, so ultimately due to his better stats, better abilities, healing.
Factor and battlefield control the victor of today’s battle is the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju.

Stats
When it comes to stats, I think this becomes pretty clear cut, Oogway doesn't scale to any of the potential universal Kung Fu Panda feats (not like I buy them anyway) but he's still pretty powerful. Obviously the Black Tortoise feat is pretty powerful, however, no where near the highest Hashirama.
Even taking the "shook the earth" feat at face value, the highest you could get with that is small planet lvl, which would narrow the gap by quite a bit, but Hashirama would still be solidly higher, at planet lvl. It gets even worse with speed, again outside of the potential uni args, KFP doesn't get that high in speeds, and Oogway wouldn't scale. Meanwhile, Hashirama outright scales to all the FTL feats in the series.
Hashirama takes this.
Abilities
Now this a bit more tricky, both have a lot of good options when it comes to their abilities, The Golden Lotus Clap and Bringer of Darkness cancel each other out, Hashirama five gates would provide good defense against Oogway's Chi attacks, wood clones could very well overwhelm Oogway, and many of his wood release (stop it) options could trap Oogway. Finally, Oogway has no counters to Hashirama's insane regen.
However, Oogway is not defenseless here, levitation could help Oogway escape Hahirama's woods, he has resistance against Advent of a world of Flowering Trees, and The Clap of Stillness would give Oogway time to pull off some of his best win-con abilities, like The Wuxi Finger Hold, possible Soul Manipulation, Transmutation, or BFR with his staff sending Hashirama to the sprit world. Not to mention while not on the same lvl of insanity as Hashirama, Oogway has healing with Chi as well.
Both have some good abilities here, but ultimately I give this to Oogway.
Tertiary Factors
Oogway should be more experienced and possibly superior fighter, though its not a huge deal, as Hashirama is also extremely skilled, and has a great deal of experience, not to mention he's fought all the Tailed Beast and won, and they're as old as Oogway, so Hashirama is fine.
Ultimately, while this is by no means a stomp imo, Oogway does have ways to win, Hashirama superior strength, speed, and battle field control ultimately give him the win more times than not.
